Akaash MungalePresidentAkaash Mungale is currently a junior and is the President of the Cupertino Speech and Debate team. He manages the team, signs up for tournaments, and works with the VPs of Speech and Debate in teaching. Akaash is willing to help if you have any questions about Speech, Debate, or the team as whole. Talk to him if you want to see his personal side, as he does not see it fit to post that on the World Wide Web. |

Anthony KaoVice President of DebateAnthony Kao is currently a junior and Tino S&D’s Vice President of Debate. In this capacity, he manages the debate wing of the team, instructs members regarding debate events, and edits this website on the side. Any questions regarding debate or this website should be directed to him, though he does not appreciate onslaughts of e-mail when he is coding PHP at 2AM. On a personal side, Anthony likes to squander his free time with such mundane activities as clicking the “random article” button on Wikipedia, creating websites, sleeping, and consuming copious amounts of dehydrated water. |

Samuel (Gun Ho) LeeVice President of SpeechGun Ho Lee (call him Samuel) serves as the Vice President of Speech. That means he leads, coaches, and improves the speech team. Although he has dipped his feet in multiple speech events such as Dramatic Interpretation, Extemp, and Impromptu Speaking (and thus is perfectly capable of helping students compete in these events), he focuses on Original Oratory. Gun Ho has also had brief debate experience, placing third in the Lynbrook Novice Tournament in Parli Debate, with fellow junior Min Ju Lee. |

Alan NguyenSecretaryAlan Nguyen has been a loyal Speech and Debate member ever since freshman year two years ago, and has now become the team's faithful secretary. This job does not restrict him to filing papers and the like, but rather consists of dealing with all sorts of information from team meetings to tournaments for everyone's convenience. Overall though, his grandest responsibility is to be there for his members. Alan is encouraging toward everyone and willing to help with any matter, may it be speech events or how to make cereal. Plus, he is simply just one awesome outgoing dude no one has ever regretted meeting. ☺ |

Kevin TeeTreasurerKevin Tee is currently a junior and Tino S&D's Treasurer. His duties within the team mainly include collecting tournament fees and yearly dues. Additionally, he helps with organizing the monetary aspects of any fundraisers, as he represents the team's main connection between Tino S&D's ASB account and the team itself. Any questions pertaining to impromptu speech may be answered by Kevin. Aside from Speech and Debate, Kevin is also on the CHS golf team and enjoys math and science. |

Aleena SahaPublic Relations OfficerAleena Saha is currently a sophomore and is Cupertino Speech and Debate's Public Relations Officer. She writes witty announcements, makes marketing materials, and helps make S&D's presence known. As PR Officer, she should be your first stop for any question answering or information regarding Speech and Debate. Aleena has explored deeply the lovely event of impromptu, so if you need any constructive criticism, please go to her. This year, she plans to also compete in original oratory and perhaps policy debate. Other than being an absolutely amazing S&D officer, she plays field hockey, swims, sings, and plays the violin.
